First Arts & Culture Committee Meeting
Mayor John Whitmire created a new Arts & Culture Committee of City Council. The inaugural meeting was on Wednesday, May 8th, recorded and viewable on Houston TV (HTV). The meeting agenda included remarks by the Chair of the Committee Council Member Evans-Shabazz and the Vice Chair Council Member Castillo, and then presentations by the Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs and Houston Arts Alliance.
