About the Arts Community Meeting

The Arts Community Meeting began during COVID to share critical information and to create social cohesion during a moment of social isolation. It has evolved, through community engagement and input, into a digital town hall held on Zoom. The purpose of this gathering is to build community and offer the arts community an opportunity to network with each other. Past topics have included the various divisions of HAA and how artists and nonprofits can benefit from our work. In 2025, we are expanding these meetings to include critical arts community members, with the goal of improving communication amongst art communities and expanding advocacy efforts for the arts.
