Houston Arts Alliance welcomes Leah Shah as Communications Director.
Leah brings nearly two decades of experience leading communications, public engagement, and community-centered storytelling across Houston’s nonprofit, government and tourism sectors.
Throughout her career, Leah has helped organizations strengthen community trust and connect people with the services, programs, and experiences that shape Houston’s identity. Her work has included leading communications for one of the nation’s largest county precincts and for the Harris County Elections Administration, as well as helping promote Houston on a national stage during her nearly eight years with Houston First Corporation, the city’s destination marketing organization.
At Houston Arts Alliance, Leah will lead communications strategies that support Houston’s arts and cultural community while expanding awareness, engagement, and access to the arts across the city.
