The Resilience & Recovery Division provides year-round support to strengthen the creative community, including artists, cultural workers, entrepreneurs, nonprofit arts organizations, and cultural and heritage groups, helping them build stable, sustainable livelihoods and contribute to vibrant communities and public life.
Our work is grounded in collaboration. By building partnerships across the arts, nonprofit, government, philanthropic, and emergency management sectors, we connect the creative community to resources, expertise, and systems that strengthen capacity and support long-term success.
The Division’s work is organized around three interconnected pillars: advocacy, career and economic mobility, and disaster services. Together, these focus areas help advance sector-wide preparedness, professional growth, and access to the networks and opportunities that support a resilient creative ecosystem.
Working to ensure the creative community is included in emergency and disaster planning. We build cross-sector relationships and strengthen the role of the creative community in decisions that affect resilience, recovery, and community life.
