Houston Arts Alliance CEO Taylor Jackson recently joined KHOU to highlight the free Houston Civic Art Collection Map, a digital resource that helps residents and visitors discover the City’s remarkable civic art collection through self-guided tours across Houston.

The City of Houston’s Civic Art Collection includes 873 artworks by 516 artists from Houston, across Texas, the United States, and around the world. The collection can be found in parks, libraries, airports, community centers, and other public spaces that people experience every day.

Houston Arts Alliance stewards the collection on behalf of the City of Houston, helping preserve and showcase these works so residents and visitors can experience the artists, stories, and neighborhoods that shape our city.
