The Grants Division is closing out the 2025 grant cycles with gratitude and excitement! We want to thank all our grantees, applicants, and community partners for joining us throughout the year and helping make this one of our most active cycles yet. The creativity and dedication from Houston’s arts community continue to inspire us, and we can’t wait to see the projects that blossom in the months ahead.

Although the application cycles have closed, our work continues. We’re currently in the review and adjudication phase for Let Creativity Happen and City’s Initiative Round 3, alongside finalizing our Annual Programs. All notifications and announcements for these programs are expected at the end of the year, so stay tuned!

Meanwhile, our focus on community connection remains strong. We’re convening Grants Working Groups to reflect on this year’s processes and inform our end-of-year evaluation, as well as launching a new Panel Working Group to help refine our panelist experience and identify areas for improvement. These ongoing conversations ensure that our grantmaking continues to evolve with transparency, and community at its heart.

As we move through the fall, we look forward to continuing this momentum, uplifting Houston’s artists, and shaping another year of growth and creativity together.
