- Nonprofit 501(c)3 arts and cultural organizations in existence for a minimum of one year (at the time of power2give.org posting) are eligible to apply.
- Eligible nonprofits must be located within the 12 county Greater Houston area, including: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Matagorda, Montgomery, Liberty, San Jacinto, Walker and Waller counties.
- power2give.org projects may request up to $10,000 per posting; nonprofits may post up to three projects at a time.
- power2give.org projects may fundraise for up to 90 days, retaining all funds and/or matching funds collected up to $10,000.

Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) operates and maintains the Houston section of the power2give.org website and collects donations directly from donors. From the gross revenues processed through power2give.org / Houston, 3.75% of each donation is paid to Arts and Science Council — Charlotte Mecklenburg, Inc. as royalties for the use of software and intellectual property, and 3.25% of each donation is collected by HAA to cover its costs to administer the program locally.
