Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) provides voice and leadership through its support of arts organizations and individual artists with programs and services that help build and foster a vibrant and creative community—these programs and services help to ensure that the arts professionals’ creative contributions remain a vital part of community life across Houston and the region. Programs + Services provide relevant programming that helps arts organizations and individual artists be effective stewards of their resources.
HAA’s Programs + Services primarily focus on strengthening the business acumen of the creative sector and helping organizations expand their audiences. Services range from professional development workshops for the creative sector to database management, customer relationship management and crowdsource funding.
HAA also invests in and informs the administrative capacity of arts organizations of all sizes and at all stages of development, from start-ups to mature institutions, through its Capacity Building Initiative (CBI). This major endeavor works to strengthen the management capabilities of arts organizations so they may grow, thrive and deploy their resources effectively and responsibly, thereby ensuring their long-term viability
